This is way better than the big, stupid, ugly mod war that brought us the Kooper Primus. Although I do love my RX... That Target mini is something else, really good looking mod with a lot of cool features.

Just found something on the Target mini, it is 40w mod......considering the Pico is 75w and 18650 battery, the mini target is under classed before its release IMHO.

Bah... it's a firmware upgrade away... :)

j/k... Ya I don't care for embedded batts either. But it is sexy in a Starwarzie kinda way.
It's aimed at the MTL'ers... the 1.5 ohm kids. I think it'll sell well.

I like the way the market is headed here...
More and more of these nano-mods are gonna appear.
(yes, Brewbear will be buying all of them) :rolleyes:

Stronger, smarter, sexier Pico sized mods.
IMO a Pico-size with VTC Mini chip & firmware would be about the pinnacle.
From there on it's mostly about form factor...

I think we'll see some fat micro-mods that take 26650s too.
Tanks are getting fatter, mosta the ones coming out are 23-25 mm diameter now...

I'm just wondering how reliable they're gonna be, it seems there's a new mod popping up every week. I have 3 hw g2 and the slice on pre-order. I have 2 rx200 and a bunch of 75w mods. 2 of the g2s get used, one is in the box, the pico gets used and I'm considering ordering a couple more Melo3 tanks from vapenw (16.99). I'm tempted by the presa 100w, it is cheap enough, the mini volts are neat, but I tend to build below 0.5 ohms ( thanks a lot Sharky) so the battery doesn't last very long so the Pico is the winner for little mod with big cojones.

I like in the vid at ~4 minute mark the reviewer reads the bottom of the mod
and says 'See? You don't even need to read the instructions!' :xD:

Is that thing really 100 watts?

@ChrisL , nice choice but now we are getting educated and our choices are more refined. A year ago, the tesla would've killed competition but at 100W without TC and a 2200mAh built in battery it is not the end-all, be-all mod anymore. I still think the Pico is a better choice.

IPV D2 is a good mod. Not the smallest with the rest of the mini mods but it's a work horse for it's size. Just my 2 cents.

@idjekyll , I agree with you, my D2 is one of those mods that keeps on going, but I get pissed off with the stupid recharging cable/port. Again, Pico is the better choice IMHO.

I charge my batteries externally so that's a non-issue. The D2 is the only reason I'm still on the fence about getting the Nugget or the Mini Volt. It's not as small but a removable 18650, TC mode and 75watt ceiling is good. Bought a black Serpent Mini and it's a pretty small and mobile set up.

The mini volt ( I have 2 of them) do not have TC and the battery life could be very short, depending on your coils. The Pico is a little bigger than either the Mini Volt or the Nugget but shorter and slightly wider than the D2.

The Pico does not please me aesthetically so right now I'm just hoping for a Mini Volt v2 or Nugger v2. Crossing my fingers they figure out how to incorporate a removable 18350 battery.

Agreed, it is kinda fugly, but it works. If the Mini Volt was TC and a little better battery, I'd already have one! For now, I'm looking at the Presa 100w but didn't find much on it around here. I have the Presa 75 and I use it a lot, rather awkward in the beginning but once you get used to it, it is a nice "little" mod.

@Mythical_OD , the Nugget was mentioned! I have 2 Mini Volts, passed on the Nugget, got the Pico, looking at the Preas 100w, got the Slice on pre-order- it looks like I'll have to wait another week or so since the red and blue Slice is delayed!!
P.S. do you know anything about the Presa 100?

I remember when it first came out, I gave it a negative review in the fanboy thread here. That was a big reason.
Geez, ya woulda' thought I ran over their puppy.

I say we need a 3/4" shorter VTC Mini. It's gotta take 18650s though.

Just took a look at the Tesla Stealth on YT. Not something I would buy because : no screen, wattage dictated by the coil, uses a cleito style coil. Definitely not a MTL setup, how stealthy will you be chucking clouds from a 0.28 ohm coil (pretty installed ) at roughly 50 watts?

+1 for the Nugget the TC works great with SS316L wire. With a Derringer RDA it disappears in your pocket.

Looked at the nugget on you tube and fell in love:inlove:I also like the mini volt:inlove:what is a D2? and which is best? The tesla is out of the running now,lol

So I guess anybody who posted in a thread I started lost their posts there.

OK l checked them all out on youtube.The D2, l liked the removable battery but too big. I want tini tiny! Cuboid too big and l also do not like the shape. The mini istick now your talking...but 10 watts :( so in the running is the the Nugget and the Mini volt. It may come down to price but l need one of them in my life! I also need a new wing mirror on my car as l decided that l only needed one wing mirror for this particular journey by hitting the other one on another motorists car! Price to fix ÂŁ100 deductible :facepalm:, but l need a tini tiny mod too so l will still get one:( (wrong emoji) l ment :)

@gingerbread How do you feel about all-in one units ? There are a BUNCH of those guys out of late as well. I would hate to hijack Sharky's thread so maybe I will start another one.....

My first thoughts were that the batteries will loose power over time and the whole unit will thus become defunct. But the Nugget is sooo miniture l had to have it!

Much smaller... but the VTC Mini has the better chip/firmware/display.
Still, I carry the Pico.
