Titanfall 2's open multiplayer technical test will kick off this weekend, Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts announced today at Gamescom.
The test will take place during the remaining two weekends in August, starting this Friday, August 19, and will be available for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players.
Those who participate in the technical test during the first week will be able to play two different multiplayer modes, including a 5v5 mode called Bounty Hunt that pits a team of Pilots against an opposing group and the Remnant Fleet. The other is an 8v8 mode called Pilots vs. Pilots, which serves as a classic Pilots-only option. Additionally, two maps will be available, including a secret undergound facility called Boomtown and an outdoor rocky landscape called Homestead.
