FBI Director James Comey has been fired
WASHINGTON — President Trump has fired the director of the F.B.I., James B. Comey, over his handling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails, the White House said on Tuesday.
Mr. Comey was leading an investigation into whether members of the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to influence the 2016 election.

“While I greatly appreciate you informing me, on three separate occasions, that I am not under investigation, I nevertheless concur with the judgment of the Department of Justice that you are not able to effectively lead the bureau,” Mr. Trump said in a letter to Mr. Comey dated Tuesday.
“It is essential that we find new leadership for the F.B.I. that restores public trust and confidence in its vital law enforcement mission,” Mr. Trump wrote.

That is 3.8 months overdue! Should have happened day one. The evidence this guy had on Hillary & so many others with no action for so long is inexcusable IMHO, Clapper should go too.
Why are all these people who have been crying for Come to be fire for the last several years. Saying it wrong for Trump to fire him. Some of them were even complaining 1 or 2 days ago fir just the actions they condemn today. And I'm not talking about liberals here.

My vote would be for Clarke or Napolitano.
I'd vote for Judge Andy for anything, he seems to be the only guy who knows the constitution
If I had my choice I would put Clarke in Comey's spot them send James Clapper his walking papers & give that spot to Andy Napolitano as it would put him in a position to restore integrity to the Intelligence Community across all the Intelligence Services. Added bonus is that he can fill out his own bench warrants.
Either that or put the Judge in the supreme court when Ruth Bader Ginsburg bites the dust.
Napolitano lost his show when he made that impassioned speech condemning the NSA bulk collection of all emails, metadata & everything else on all of us. I want that passion for American's rights & integrity reforming the abuses of the intelligence community - not on SCOTUS.
