3 reasons. One, he's 59 years old. Bones become more fragile at that age, no matter how healthy you are. Two, he was tackled while using his riding lawnmower and fell across it, not just standing around in his yard. Three, because he might have thought it a minor rib fracture accompanied by bad bone bruising and there's really no treatment for that. Having had both, the pain isn't much different between a full blown fracture and a partial.

As for the motive, it was almost certainly done because his neighbor was deranged and angry at him because of his politics. The only people involved pushing the landscaping angle are the guy and his lawyer, and that has more to do with the fact that saying "I assaulted a senator because I didn't like his politics" would be a very bad idea in court. They are being assisted by a press that really doesn't want to admit there is a politically motivated violence problem on the left.

This whole election in Alabama is pretty fishy....I have no idea of whether or not Judge Moore sexually harrassed anybody or not...anything is possible...What I do know is Moore like Trump is despised by the establishment of both parties. The thing I find curious about it is ...the press...Moore is running against a political party who....who stole the nomination of their party, who conspired with the same media to help steal an election, who paid for and created a mythical smear campaign of russian collusion, who tried to mount a recount of an election they lost, who has dragged the bussiness of goverment through a nothing burger of an investigation of russian vote tampering for a year and has nothing to show for it,who brought forth something like 13 women who claimed Trump sexually assulted them and have all dissappeared, who recently mounted a campagin add in which the republican was pictured as a white racist running down little brown and black childeren, who have introduced violence as a political tool into american politics......and our press abandons critical thinking, and does not question the motives or tactics of the DNC...They don't question that suddenly a few weeks before an election out of thin air appears, after 40 years.....a hail mary pass for the DNC....

Not really a hail mary.. more SOP.... the Left knows any acusation of impropriety by a Right will get the other righties to condemn on sight........ they know the right is particularly sensitive to sex allegation.

On the other hand the dems protect thier guilty... How Bobby Menendez doing.... Clintons not in jail yet... Kennedy family? the KKK. Need more examples.

Moore has to be a setup. Trump will take decisive action and order the FBI to immediately investigate. The accusers will quickly recant when faced with a choice of lawsuit with charges of slander from Moore or perjuring themselves in alleging & pressing false charges in a federal pedophilia investigation. It will come out that they were paid to make the accusations by Media Matters or some corrupt lawyer. Worse comes to worse if Moore is guilty he is bounced before he ever gets in.

Fortunately, either way, their zeal to condemn Moore will backfire on the Dems when they are perp walked into federal prison in the court of public opinion.

The GOP establishment is not the "Right" they are the lapdogs of the globalists...Moore is the "Right"...Moore like Trump is being bashed not because he is on the "Right", but because he is a nationalist....this just gives the GOP a way to try and stop the rise of nationalisim without coming right out and declaring themselves.as tools of the global elite.

Yes and the energy and money Moore could use to win an election is taken away from him by possible phony lawsuits....it's a tactic lawyers have used for years to win cases...not by exposing the truth but by bleeding the time and resources of the accussed....

Cases wouldn't be heard for months. False Accusers will fold after a single interview with a competent agent & either go away quietly or it will be made known they were coerced into bringing accusations by opponents.

my point is how the media doesn't question the actions of the DNC and the past lies and tactics they have used to try and win elections...we no longer have even the illusion of a press.

Unlikely, especially after the indictments are announced, but time will tell. Doesn't sound like Moore really did anything wrong, even if he secretly wanted to, but if he did, then he goes down.

Better now than later.

Seems more like they are trying to get Sessions to step down as AG and re-assume his Senatorial seat until another election can be held so they can delay or influence the Sealed Indictments.

Be a miracle if Trump survives the week.
