Which is exactly what Trump wants. ANTIFA are concentrated in Sanctuary Cities by design of Dems where they are protected. All their activities tax their resources and affect the quality of life for those inhabitants. Residents they feel threatened because of them because the Dems do nothing about it and Trump cannot specifically address the issue because locals refuse to cooperate with federal authorities, the population of these cities will shift their allegiance during upcoming election cycles to illicit that cooperation in order to address the problem.
Trump wants them so sick of ANTIFA's violence and property damage they cause people will run Dems out of power. He wants the people to beg him to fix Sanctuary Cities for them. A willing populace is necessary to effect change. Murder rates are a different issue though.
A lot of the murders in Chicago have to do with robust gang activity / targeted organ harvesting. As war zone availability decreases, civilian "Donations" must increase. Simple supply & demand and since Chicago is essentially a Democrat Cabal stronghold, it naturally is the preferred hunting ground.
Trump has already arrested over 900 in pedo stings in Chicago in may ( remember 2 other bust there in Feb & January in the 200-300 range & appears to be readying another offensive in Chicago judging by some recent meetings he has held with community leaders but with all the bullshit he is dealing with, I don't expect it to be a very high priority effort without more support from the city. He might just want to put up some serious numbers up on the boards there in Chicago prior to the midterms to reach hearts & minds in the African American Communities & exploit #Walkaway so who knows? Time will tell.
