Played with it a bit, but never took the time to figure it all out as far as live TV goes where it is easy to use. Know there are channel tuner lineup add ons that you program stream info to but never took the time to figure that out.

I get basic cable TV for free, and pay for charter networking - I refuse to pay more to SUBSCRIBE to hulu (which I tried when it was born) and other services that charge monthly ABOVE the network-fee.

Kodi can definitely bypass providers if the right feed address the providers are grabbing onto are found & addressed or linked into a channel lineup which takes time to figure out, more than I was able to invest when I was playing with Kodi a while back. It most definitely can be done. It was usually easier just to stream premium bootleg content on kodi if I remember correctly. Depends on the build you use.
