That's not my interpretation of his words. That's why I posted the dictionary definition of the word "corruption". By definition, not interpretation, what he did is corruption. You're not refuting my interpretation, you're refuting his words or the definition of words.
As for this silly thing where you keep claiming I said that donating to a corrupt politician is the same as being one, I can't help you with that because I never said it and I have repeatedly pointed out that I never said it. You're using that as a strawman because you can't beat what I actually said. Both Hillary and Trump are corrupt by the definition of the word. Her pay for play makes her corrupt. The definition of corruption states that the act of corrupting someone is also corruption. Meaning, not only is the seller of influence corrupt, so is the buyer. You can't get around that.

Oh my. Trump did not corrupt anyone. They were already corrupt. That's the problem you have. Your tunnel vision has you blinded to the rather obvious full picture in front of your face.
You seem to think that only Trump was donating to politicians. That simply isn't the case. Lot's of people, corporations, special interest groups, and etc donate to corrupt politicians. They do it gain an edge and corner markets.
When you have corruption in place and you enter a market, if you don't put yourself in an equal position with others in the market that are already gaining favor by donating to corrupt politicians, you simply do not compete. The corrupt politicians will simply favor your competition that does donate if you do not. It's called "pay to play" for a reason. You don't pay, you don't play.
Since you didn't understand my horse racing example, I'll give you another.
Big Tobacco is lobbying corrupt politicians for political favor as it pertains to vaping. They are trying to corner the market through regulation. The vaping community now has it's own lobby, albeit not as influencial. We don't have pockets as deep, but we do have pockets. If the vaping community is smart, they'll identify, support and donate to corrupt politicians. If they don't, they won't be able to compete with big tobacco. The vaping community is not trying to corrupt uncorrupt politicians. They are trying to level the playing field. They have to play the game on the game board that already exists.
In your twisted correlations, the vaping community is corrupt because they have a lobby. They seek to influence corrupt politicians that are already corrupt. I'm pretty sure that vaping individuals, vaping business' and the vaping lobby are donating to politicians. If not, they are fucking stupid. But you think they are corrupt.
Trump did not corrupt the corrupt. He plays on the board that was available. His competition donates, so he must donate. He is the only one that is honest about it.
It really isn't that difficult to see. But, you have to think for yourself rather than listen to talking heads on the TV that tell you what to think. Evaluate each candidate and claim on your own. If you didn't know Super Mormon was corrupt it's because you listened to the talking heads and did not investigate and use your own critical thinking skills, if you have any. I have my doubts that you do. You're more like a pitbull. Someone handed you a rope to latch onto and now you won't let go so you you can't see the steak being held two inches from your face.
