The moderator did a good job, he tried to keep childish trump inline.
He didn't have to ask clinton about emails because trump did that for him.
He let them go at it for 15-20 minutes and then fact checked childish trump a few times after that but he didn't really have the hard questions to ask Clinton since trump did it for him.

All echo and tinny. Watching t.v. it may have been possible to get a solid audio connection while at the actual hall his mic may have been cutting out. Perhaps not the mic specifically but the connection to the local speakers. Giving people at home the impression that the mic was working fine. It's also not the first time Trump has sniffed, it was just an inhale through the nose is all. Not a coke sniff (which is a short snort, not long inhale) and not a runny nose since it wasn't wet sounding.

Honestly I think these debates are pointless. It's political speed dating at best. If someone hasn't been paying attention up until now, hasn't bothered to watch a rally, listen to the news or anything else does anyone think they're motivated enough to get off their lazy ass, stand in line and pull a lever come November? It's also been pretty apparent when put to the dial test well before this debate that independents this election cycle are more apt to side with the conservative vs the liberal. It was quite clear from that debate as well, whether favoring Trump or grading shillary's statements the 'independents' and republicans were nearly the same line. There's not much in the way of 'undecideds' nor 'independents' aside from name only. They're either for one or the other or they're staying their ass home.
