I believe the problem is that Mueller filed the charges under the assumption that the Russian defendants would not bother to show up and defend themselves given that they were under no obligation to do so, not being US citizens and all. The charges were a political stunt. He figured he could file them and there would be no opposition.
When the defendants showed up for court, first he tried to delay but the judge shot him down. Now he is trying to withhold evidence either because he never had any evidence or as the author claims, to prevent a reasonable defense. Or both.
Of course the Russians will use the case to gather information. Duh. He should have thought of that before filing charges in court.

you know I've been examining a thought lately..the left are insane, or they have so much hubris they are out of touch with reality...their abuse of dissenting thoughts to the point of jailing and committing acts of violence against people has become so arbitrary and so desperate that they may have pushed themselves out of the national conversation. to the point their acts of violence may have a boomarang effect upon them. I think people may realize the left is not interested in a dialouge, they are only interested in submission,and soon the people will choose not to submitt.
At least someone from our government has put this on the Congressional Record and spoken out in support of Tommy Robinson. Trump is curiously silent though.
