Tomahawk mod question

Hi, I'm having an issue with the firing button of my tomahawk mod I have polished insides of the copper tube and the outside of the Firing button itself and sometimes I still have sticking of the button. I used to little wd-40 on the bottom of the inside of the copper tube and the outside of the button and it seems to work okay. Should I be using that or is there something else better? Thanks for your time

The button is sticking?
Does it stick when you fire, and not come out (causing an auto fire) or is it sticking when you try and fire it. (sticking on the press)

It sticks sometimes when i fire it causing a sketchy auto fire, i can jimmy it to come loose and stop the auto fire. But just wish it would fire fine all the time.
