With celebrities like Drake, Liam Neeson, Ryan Reynolds, Alec Baldwin, and more at their disposal, advertisers really threw everything at the wall this year for Super Bowl 50. And while there was no "Dead Nationwide Kid" to bring everyone down, there was still a pattern of nightmarish imagery. From that haunting Puppymonkeybaby to "Skittles" Steven Tyler to Willem Dafoe reenacting Marilyn Monroe's iconic sidewalk shoot, these ads really leaned into "the uneasy."
