Toptank Nano problem

Mod showed 0.00 ohms. I figured my coil was shot so put a new .5 ohm coil in. Mod showed at 4.92 ohms. Cleaned mod connection and tank connection, still no better. Took coil out and dried down in where the coil goes and still no luck. Took the same coil and put it in my subtank mini. On the same mod it reads .63 ohms and is vaping fine. What could be the issue with my nano?

Coil ohms do you have a tendency to vary. Even though it is supposed to be .5 Mine will do that too. I'll get anywhere from .45 to .6. The problem you are having sounds like a juice short. At some point you have gotten juice inside that 510 connection.

I had a base from an aero tank mega shit the bed on me back in the day. My research turned up that it has to do with the way kanger designed the bases, they are all press fit. Chances are it came apart slightly and isn't fully grounding the coil. I was never able to fix mine and had to replace the tank , shortly after getting a new one they began selling the bases by themselves. Use the Google machine to look for a replacement base or a new tank.
Good luck

Just thankful it was a tank issue and not my mod. My backup recently crapped on me so running with one mod for now.
