I can't get it to light with a lighter. I can't get it to light with propane. Why are people acting like torching it is some big warning that everyone has to parrot for safety?
It takes me a hydrogen/oxy generator to light it (I'm sure I could light it with my NG/oxy torch). Even when it does light it goes out without me having to pinch it off or quench it.
It does get brittle when I get it glowing red and has a titanium dioxide dust coating so I can see why you wouldn't want to heat it that far.
Technically when it turns colors that's titanium dioxide and I know it will turn brown for my vaping. I don't know if it's dust until it turns white.
