Total Noob - Coil help

hey everyone I just got into the vaping scene a few months ago and everything was smooth sailing until tonight and now I'm more pissed than ever because I'm not smoking in my bed before I go to sleep. I have the Kangertech Topbox mini 75W. I use 0.5 Ohm coils and haven't had any problems at all. On my display screen it has always ready 0.32 Ohms at all times. For some reason today I picked it up after not hitting it for a while and it said 0.6 Ohms and when I went to hit it it tasted like...well like ass really. I assumed it was the coil so I took it out, primed a new one, and put it in. When I turned on my display it still said 0.6 Ohms. I'm assuming it relfects my coil but not entirely sure (as you can tell I'm pretty new at this). I haven't hit it yet or anything because I don't wanna fuck up another coil I was just wondering if anyone could offer any advice on the situation. My local shop really is terrible and offers little help and I honestly just want to go back to puffing clouds again. Thanks for any suggestions you might have

I never had good luck with Kanger coils, especially with high VG....what type of jooce ratio are you using?

BTW, Kanger coils drift ohms, haven't used one in months...and glad I shelved them all.

Yeah, a small amount of drift on the readings is not unexpected. Go ahead and give your new one a puff or two.

Thanks I appreciate it. I know this sounds stupid (because it is, I myself even call it stupid) but I have no idea where to see the juice ratio on my bottle so I honestly don't know what I'm using. Any advice for coils? My shop only carries kanger so I'd have to get them online which is cool just wanna get some good okes. Honestly have had a bad experience with them so I'm fine with that

After a few puffs the resistance still hasn't changed but it tastes like normal. Any consensus on what to do next?
Some change in ohms can be expected from ready made coils. As long as you're priming it before use and giving it a break between draws you should be fine. Is it a kanger sub tank? I found with mine it just can't handle higher watts without burning. Others had a different experience but some had the same.

Another thing to consider is darker juices or extra sweet juices will coil gunk. As the gunk builds up its not unusual for the resistance to get higher (I.e. Going from .5 to .7 or something similar)

Yea I got this blueberry lemonade stuff maybe that's it. I paid a decent amount so assumed it would be good. Ugh so much to learn

I'm at 70 vg/30 pg but honestly don't know what that means lol

I don't go over 30, lately I've been around 25-27. Which I thought was fine
I'll have to look at mine and let you know, I don't think I go above 25 usually with that particular tank. Trouble shooting is always a bit difficult with so many variables involved. And there's a chance it was just a bum coil from the factory it happens sometimes. I'd say if the current one tastes ok for now just roll with it and toss the other one
