TPA/TFA Koolada

Hi,

I've got these Koolada concentrates from TPA/TFA

lEgFtOc.jpg

One is a 10ml, 10% Koolada specific for ecigs which I've finished some time ago. The other a 15ml, 10% Koolada for culinary use that I bought under the assumption it would be the same.

Despite both being 10% Koolada (from what I could learn from TFA site) the culinary one seems to be much more powerful and harsher.

When I used the ecig one I would use 3% to get a really fresh effect. However with the culinary one I use around 1% for more or less the same freshness.

My question is if anyone has similar experience with these concentrates or if by any chance I got a somehow more concentrated one.

had not heard of two dif versions .. Would think that one was either older or as you said more concentrated... perhaps not mixed as well b4 packaging. Where did you get them from ?

One was from Pink Mule (ecig version). That came in a little card box and had sealed cap.

The 15ml culinary one I bought from a portuguese store. The packaging looks authentic and had a sealed cap. I have several other TPA 15ml flavors and they all look similar. Other TPA flavors from same store are perfectly fine, so I don't think it was tampered with.

TPA did change their logo maybe a year ago, or less. They "PA" on the left is the new one. "Perfumer's Apprentice". I suppose it's possible you received a flavoring that was on it's way out. I've had a couple concentrates loose their "oomph". Koolada does fade in a mix, so I suppose it's possible that it could happen, sitting on a shelf. You might try and contact them through their website. They're typically really helpful people.

I don't mind, just took a 30ml batch of extra fresh eliquid to adjust :)

Odd thing is the "new" one is the weakest. I'll check later if the old has some date on it.
