quite a few of you know i lost my family on xmas day, so for me i hate xmas. having said that, i hope you all enjoy your xmas. the one thing santa cant bring is family. enjoy them more than silly presents, if they were not there to hug, you could still purchase any present you get,,but you cant but family, enjoy the moment with them, just remember to catch up with them at times other than xmas. how did the song go....
there were 3 ships sailing
sailing across the sea
one carried silver
another carried gold
but the third carried you my love
safely home to me
and thats the greatest treasure
that ever sailed the sea.

enjoy and give your huge and smiles to all.

That's a lovely post, but for me, family is overrated. It's always a political brawl around the holiday table. It was better when my parents were around to referee, but they're gone, so now it's hardly worth the time. Someone gets drunk, someone gets mad, someone stomps out. And you're left thinking "well happy birthday baby Jesus".

I'm sorry. Can you write of what happened on that Christmas day when you lost your family? If it hurts too much to tell of it, that's okay.

It is not stupid to cling to the memory of the good in your life.
