I've been kicking around the idea of trying to use a PC power supply to use as the source, on an old Geekvape's Aegis I have. So far I have a 500 Watt power supply and it has a 12V 41A set of pins on it. My thinking is all I should have to do is get a resistor to bring that down to 8.2 Volts and solder the leads either straight onto the board for the mod or to the "battery sled" /tube's positive and negative terminals. How ever I'm still new to the world of electronics and low voltage circuits so I'm unsure if I got that right or what resistor I would need to handle a max of 200Watts, so I don't blow anything up.
