Hey guys! Just a quick (maybe) review of the Delta Squonk Kit that I won in a giveaway here (as requested by @Vaporesso_Chelsea). This will be my first true review so bare with me and ask questions if you need or want more info!

Overall design/economics/feel:
I got the gunmetal/rainbow coloredmod (which it seems like all early reviewers received from what I've seen). Based on the pictures I've seen online, it's my favorite color. It feels great in the hand, whether you fire with your thumb or index finger. It's on the heavy side, which is to be expected seeing how it's made fully of metal. It's a pretty solid mod with nothing feeling cheap, and no rattle from the buttons or internals.

Board functionality/menu selection/etc:
The menu is super easy to navigate, with nothing seeming out of place. The only option as far as power goes is wattage-normal. No voltage, temp control, or TCR. Which is fine with me. From what I've read there might be a lot of typical omniboard features locked that could possibly be unlocked in a future firmware update. The display is clean and easy to read and has all the normal info on it. Battery life in the top corner, as well as the mode you're in (again, it's locked in VW-N). A gauge design surrounding the wattage, and at the bottom of the screen is resistance, applied voltage, puff counter, and time of last puff, in seconds. The theme can be changed, but only color options of the "power gauge".

Squonking functionality:
This part is pretty cool to be honest. Instead of a soft bottle to squeeze, there's a hard plastic bottle with a button on top of the mod that somehow feeds juice to the dripper. I can't speak on the mechanics of how it works, but it works well, with a small caveat. Once the bottle is about half empty, The squonk function quits working. The trade-off is that in order to fill the bottle back up, all you have to do is flip the mod (make sure the dripper doesn't have a lot of juice in it, trust me), push the nipple of your juice bottle into the small valve on the bottom, and squeeze. Quick and clean. No need to remove the bottle or anything.

Included TVL reload RDA:
This is the one part of the whole kit that could possibly be a deal breaker for some. It's not necessarily a bad RDA. It's just that there are many more better options out there. It is surely the cloudiest single coil rda I've ever used (to be honest the only other I've had is the recurve). The reload (not to be confused with the more popular reload by another company) is designed with mesh coils in mind, I think. But for some reason the kit came with 3 fused claptons. My first build was two of the included coils, which was easy enough to install, but the 100w from the mod just wasn't enough power in my opinion. I am currently using the last coil and it's working better. At first i thought the RDA was lacking in flavor production but after the cotton got broken in, the flavor was much better. I still think mesh is a better option, which I'll try soon enough and update this review. The design of the reload is a postless deck with, I'm assuming, a completely open juice well underneath. There has to be juice hiding somewhere in there because i can give it one good squonk, without flooding, and honestly get a good 15-20 vapes before the cotton is dry. I'm talking lung filling rips, not any little tootle puffs. The cap reminds me very much if the recurve with it's shape, but not nearly as curved inward as the recurve. One thing i don't like about the RDA is that the color doesn't match the mod at all. Sure it's got the rainbow treatment, but it's more subdued than the flashy gloss look of the Delta. The recurve looks so much better in the matchy-matchy department.

In conclusion, as far as the Delta mod goes, it's only drawback is the fact that i refill the squonk bottle more that i think i should, since it quits functioning halfway through. I'm not sure how the little valve on the bottom will hold up overtime. I work in a pretty dirty environment, and i can see debris getting in the valve, causing it to be stuck open and having juice spill out all over my work table. I'm actually looking forward to seeing how that holds up. The reload RDA isn't really terrible, but it seems like they could have put more thought into it before releasing it to the public. It's a jack of all trades but master of none really. A cloud chasing flavor banger that runs single, dual, or mesh coils...but not great in any of those departments.

I'll post pictures a little later on when i have more time.

Bought one yesterday. Mesh coil installed. I only got dry hits.
Sorry this device is a RDA which you will need to DIY it yourself. It's a little hard for us to locate the dry hit problem. Make sure to wick the coil wire and cotton enough well
