Twitter has extended its new, longer 280-character limit to more users and languages across the platform.
In a blog post, Twitter discussed the recent test allowing some users to have 280 character tweets over the original 140 and what this has meant for the platform.
The company says the data has indicated new character limits have made Twitter easier to use without having much of an effect on the overall brevity of most tweets. Because of this, the new changes are being rolled out to all languages who will benefit from the expanded characters.
