Driving through Virginia a few weeks back didn't help. $38 for a carton of brand name cancer sticks... I just couldn't pass up on the opportunity to kill myself!! At those great prices, you can't afford not to smoke!

:headbang:

Sigh... this situation is totally environmental too. I own a small moving company, and ALL of my helpers freakin' smoke. They're good guys - they don't push me towards it, and they'll gladly not smoke in front of me if I ask.

Of course, I never ask. But I'll ask to bum one! Then before you know it, I'm off to buy my own pack, and like I said before, a carton to share with the guys...

I don't know if I'm even asking for advice at this point, after all, I know what to do to help myself. I guess I'm just ranting. I'm sure I'm not the only one who encounters "environmental hazards" related to smoking at work.

For now, just feel bad for me

Remember it isn't about the ones you smoke... its about the ones you don't. Keep on fighting the good fight, you'll get there when it feels right for you. :vino:

I think that more of us than want to admit us have slipped from time to time.

So don't stress too much about it.

Both 100% right, we should never be hard on ourselves, remorseful , yea , been there done that, main thing is staying on track through the cravings as best we can, Here's hoping you can rebound and stick to vaping, good luck The Vape Crusader:wave::ejuice::cloud:

I remember the one time I slipped.

I found an ancient pack of smokes in my glove compartment about 3 months after I had 100% switched to vaping.

I took out a stinky (there was also a lighter in there), lit it up, took a drag and almost "Tossed My Cookies".

Needless to say, that was my last attempt.

I now have a 6 year pack of Stinkies sitting on my desk as a constant reminder of my past folly.

I took two puffs off a red last nite just to see, because they were always my preferred brand. Tasted like ass, of course. Took a couple of hours to vape the taste away. Glad to finally be over the cravings. Only took a year, lol. Hang in there, man.

Hey guys...

Really enjoyed reading what you all had to say. Genuinely appreciative of the encouraging words.

Well look, I haven't had one (I swear) since the OP, and I've been a little more active with the guys, giving them the hint that I really don't wanna smoke. Rules such as:
-Stay down wind of me if you're gonna have a smoke.
-NO more smoking in my truck (Tundra 4 Life :) )
-Don't offer me smokes.

I have plenty of good equipment. IPVD3, iStick 100w TC, Smok R80 TC. Good tanks too.

It's funny, one of my guys, just 19 years old... really good kid, likes to make a game of it. "Hey, wanna smoke?" "NO, YOU DON'T, YOU'RE QUITTING!"
And then he'll fire up a cancer stick somewhere else... lol.

I know I'm not the only one. Been vaping 15 months now, but this constant exposure to cigarettes definitely makes it tougher for someone like myself. Lord knows I've saved myself more cigs than I've smoked due to vaping - I'll try to keep my mind on that positive note.
