Ultrasonic Cleaners for Steeping

Does anyone have a opinion on using ultrasonic cleaners for steeping? Does it speed the steeping process up and are there certain meatheads to use when doing it?

Thanks!

That is an interesting question that I would like to know as well as I have an ultrasonic cleaner. I also believe you meant "methods" and not "meatheads", unless there is something I don't know about ultrasonic cleaning lingo :)

I use my ultrasonic cleaner to "steep" or more accurately ultrasonically blend my eliquid mixtures. Since the unit I have also heats the bath, I run 2-30 minute cycles, wait for a day and then 2 more 30 minute cycles. It shaves off about 2 weeks steeping for complex flavors (especially Tobacco's). It really does work.

There's no real meatheads to use when blending in an ultrasonic cleaner. Just don't let Archie Bunker near the unit.:p

No problem Eric. :) Thank you very much Zanazam. That should help things a lot.

I've been using a harbor freight ultrasonic cleaner to "speed steep" my juice for forever.

The one I have does like 400ish second cycles and it has a heater. I pretty much just drop a few bottles in and keep running the cycle until I get tired of listening to it.

It works pretty well. My ADV is a light tan color when it's fresh and when it's ready to vape it's reddish. So I go by the color. I've been mixing the same juice for well over a year so I can tell when it's "done" :)
