The Underworld franchise is changing hands yet again in the upcoming installment Underworld: Blood Wars, with Outlander director Anna Foerster taking the reins. Her goal is to direct the film back towards what worked in 2003's Underworld, and admits she wasn't the biggest fan of the direction the series went in its most recent installment, 2012's Underworld: Awakening.
"The first one I saw it when it just came out. It was quite extraordinary, especially as a visual piece and creating a world that I have not seen before at that time. I mean, later a lot of people copied it in different way.
