Unregulated box mod battery question

I just recently got a new Box mod ( Tesla invader 2 ) It is dual parallel. The one question I have is, If I have to use the same set brand batteries all the time. or can I use 2 Samsung batteries ( Married of course ) and then when those need to be charged, can I switch to a married couple MXJO'S? Or do I need to use the same brand battery all the time in that box mod.

Not at all. You don't need to use just Samsung batteries in your mod. Or whatever battery brand you use.. If that was the case some of us would be stuck waiting for our batteries to recharge.

While it's a good idea to use the same batteries together (others with knowledge here can elaborate) you don't need to stick to one brand for your mod.

I always thought when vaping in parrallel and not in series, it didn't really matter.

Is that correct battery guru's?

Batteries are married to each other, not mods, when used in parallel. They are married based on use, not where. However, you may notice a difference in performance if you use 2x10 amp batteries vs 2x20 amp batteries based on atty build. The amp rating is maximum deliverable amps.

If you do not use LIKE batteries in MATCHED pairs, one of the batteries MAY become part of the circuit and cause issues.

No. In parallel it's much less dangerous to mix batteries than to do it in series but it's still very highly not recommended regardless of parallel vs series.

But like others have said, as long as the pairs are kept together, you can swap with completely different pairs of batteries and it's fine.

It's always a good idea to use married pairs in both serial and parallel.
In parallel, uneven batteries would cause one battery to drain faster then the other, which might cause it to drain below the min recommended value without you even noticing it.
In serial it is more crucial since the batteries are stressed more.
Think of it as a chain under stress with one weak link.
