Updating the Yihi sx 350j v2 chip

Having issues updating the chip. Anyone else have any problems and any help would be appreciated. I've gone to the website and downloaded the file but my computer isn't recognizing the chip when I plug it in. I'm running Windows 7. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions!!!

Did you remove the battery from the device? Do you know what your usb ports are ie. 2.0 or 3.0?
