When I tried them I put them up to - I believe - something like 70 watts and maybe 525F. Still didn't like them...!

Oh yes, ONLY in TC mode of course.

I run mine at 70w and 450 to 490 and for me I get good flavor , there are some that go 500 and higher it has more flavor that way but cuts down coil life for me . What device you using this crown on ?

I have put it on the rx200 and the cuboid mini. Same, no flavor, results.

You're using them in TC mode, right, on the Ni200 setting? If so, then your results are pretty much the same as mine. I never use those coils, but I love the ss .25, which I use in wattage mode only.

On NI setting 68 to 78 watt 480f make sure you prime the coil and break it in slow and they will treat you with much flavor. Also with a needle poke holes on the coil side opening and also on top like a cross 4 total.

Yeah , I am using the cuboid , evic , and have used it on my vaporesso , I hear a lot of comments against the Coils . Not everyone is a fan , but they do the job for me . Maybe try the ss coils and see if they have a differant flavor . My taste buds are not quite right after a surgery I had last year , but it works for me .

I don't mind tc coils I use them all the time in my FreeMaX Starre tank and love them...the Crown tc coils just seem to really suck. Maybe I got a bad batch

I've been using the Crown (actually 4 of them) for a long time. Out of all the coils I only like the 0.25, although the 0.5 are passable. The others, including the RBA deck, are just not up to par for me! But some people love them, so it's always worth trying at least.

I'm with everybody else on here. The 0.25s are the only coil I buy. The 0.5s and the TC coils provide decent flavor, but not even half of what the 0.25s can do. I've heard that the TC coils on the Rafale are an improvement, but I have yet to try them myself.

I run mine in TC mode at 85w and about 500f depending on the juice. They seem to last longer than the .25 SS.

I run the Ni200 .15 coils on my Fuchai at 520F, since watts are not adjustable in TC. Great flavor and vapor production with high VG juices. Much more consistent than either SS coil IMO.
