So I'm 99%of the time a dripper, but while driving to and from work (nearly 1hr each way) I'd like to use my tank. I've fallen in love with the crown v1, I've tried other tanks, baby beast, cloud beast, but to me the crown owns them. Maybe not as much vapor as the cloud beast but uses much less juice, anyhow my question. I purchased the crown rba deck, I've tried multiple times horizontal coil, vertical coil more cotton less cotton and I can't seem to get it right, I either get catastrophic juice leaks or burnt hits at 25watts (I normally vape much higher 80-100 watt). I tried the pre-made coils they give with the rba, made my own with 23g n90 22g n80 and even tried 26g kanthal and it just doesn't seem to work, does anyone have any tips with this particular rba so I can enjoy my tank without the fuss of buying coils? Thanks in advance.

What works for me is around 0.4 ohms with a 2mm di. Run cotton through tight and fluff then straighten the fibers. Cut the tails at an angle from the base up 45 degree angle. Then pull up the cotton and place the cap. Once this is done place the cotton in around the juice holes and spread out. Also insure you move the cotton away from the air flow and coil to the edge. This is with dry cotton. Now you can put some juice in the coil, pulse a bit and you're ready to go.

Takes a bit of practice and persistence but once you get it it's easy. I usually run a SS fused Clapton 30x2/38 or 32x240 and get one hell of a good Vape.

Awesome, thanks brother I will give that a try on my next day off. I really do like the tank, this rba head can be quite frustrating though, again I thank you and I'll keep you posted on my results.
