Uwell Nunchaku - Any tips on how to maximize flavor and vapor production?

I purchased this kit last week. My initial reactions were great and I enjoyed using it all day. It has been some days and I've since encountered a few issues that I'm hoping aren't going to be a constant thing.
  • Vapor production seems to have waned. Clouds were huge at first now they're smaller.
  • Flavor is no longer there. It's just tasteless warm air also as though the coil was soaked in water.
  • Occasional dry hits, especially if I drag on it for longer than 3 seconds.
I'm curious what I'm doing wrong. I watched about 5 review videos before purchasing this kit.

Everyone I've seen talk about this kit has raved on about the great flavor and cloud production. I'm currently using 70 VG blue jolly rancher juice @ 50 watts on the .25 ohm coil that was preinstalled.

I'm thinking about putting in the 0.4 coil to see if the .25 is the issue. I've also ordered some juices with 60 VG in case the 70 was gunking my coil too fast since I am vaping on a candy flavor.

It's possible that the coil is burned out, it's not uncommon with drop in coils.
I have one as well, it doesn't get used much but one thing I have noticed with drop in coils.
Pay close attention to your juice and don't let it run down until you get a dry hit.
If I'm careful and don't let the juice run down I can get weeks out of a coil. If I don't watch it and let it run dry the coil seems to go fast after that.

This is a good tip indeed. I would often let the juice run down on my Nautilus which ruined several coils.

With regards to the Nunchaku tank, it seems the cotton holes on the sides extend about 40% the way up the tank which makes me hesitant to vape more once I get to that 40% fill mark in fear that the empty space exposing a bit of top of the cotton will cause burnt hits. Should I be filling it back up around that 40% mark or should I let it go to about 10% before adding more? It's a shame for when I want to add a new juice as I feel forced to pour out the juice in there once I reach that 40% mark. Hopefully that made sense.

I will say I didn't experience any burnt hits when it was low like that. Just sort of occurred randomly but it seems to be back to normal. Main issue atm is the lack of flavor. There's none at all oddly.

I've been using this .25 coil for 4 or 5 days which doesn't seem too long.

You shouldn't have to refill at the 40% mark, nor should you need to dump the remaining juice when you refill.
4 to 5 days seems like a short time but if that is your only vape and you use it a lot that's not that uncommon. That's why so many people switch to rebuildables.
Very easily could just be a bad coil. Try a new coil and I'll bet you'll get the flavor and the clouds back.

Vaping a candy flavor.......juices with a lot of sweetener will shorten coil life, need to consider if the tradeoff is worth it.

Make sure the new coil is primed, let it sit awhile, start with low wattage and increase gradually- with a few dry puffs mixed in.

I get good coil life by rotating setups and trying not to chain vape.

One coil I can not kill is the original small Fireluke Mesh. I have been using a sweet juice concoction, and the flavor is just now starting to fade after 1 month. I have chain vaped this coil without burning it.

Another one like this- the 316ss mesh coil from the Mesh Pro.

I am interested in getting a Falcon because the wicking holes on the coil sit so low in the tank. Not a big tank, but most of the capacity is usable before needing to refill.

Mesh coils do seem to be longer lasting in general, and less prone to gunk accumulation from sweet juice.
