I liked my v2 and v5 okay, but one thing they aren't is durable...one drop could be enough to bend one at the threads or mash in the control buttons...make sure you're planning to keep it somewhere secure
I've dropped my v7 on asphalt from waist height and it took it like a champ. Battery cap popped off and the upper tube needed to be pressed back in but it vaped right away.. Probably the 4th or 5th time I've dropped it..
Everyone here has been overlooking one really big fact... Vamo's have been made by so many different companies with such a wide variance in quality... that what anyone says about any particular one or version means nothing without noting also who the manufacturer of that one is... What makes it worse, usually the resellers don't even disclose which maker's Vamo they are carrying.
Vision and KSD ( Kangside ) are the two companies that most claim made the Vamo first... from what I've seen it's unclear as to which was first. I can only say I saw many Vision brand and then later the KSD's seem to show up... but that could still be incorrect. Either way, both do seem to make good quality ones by most reviews I've seen. Still there are numerous others out there with most being poorly made.
The best way to pick which one ( if any ) is to base it on what company you end up purchasing it from. If the company is well known for carrying quality products and not just having the best price... you have a good chance of getting a good quality product.
Got the V6 in Nov. well made tube, has held up, very tough, glad I got the SS one . It's a KSD, can't say for the other mfg. Oh, yeah everyone had the Smok Ace on sale during black Friday, picked one up for $7.99. Light , buttons rattle , but just works great, has taken a lot of abuse.
