After @SnapDragon NY recommended the Pyro I was going to purchase it next but just seen an advert come up for the Pyro V2 which has BF capability ...now you’re talking!

Might hold off and buy that instead ....Anyone know any details yet?

Looks close everywhere but AF. Has the ramp at the bottom still, but now side AF too.

MIght beat the OG with that AF. But the coils look too low to take advantage of it, in that pic up there

Not much room to manoeuvre them upwards though...hmmm reckon that’ll affect it?

Remember someone mentioning they like to run a huge single coil on the original and think if I got it that’s how I’d want to run it as well

I reckon airflow would be smoother but could dilute the flavour perhaps looking at those pics since it’s not direct side on using just the scoop

Read my mind on that top green arrow. that's why I thought coils higher = better, but that top one looks outa range. Gonna have to see I'm with you on possibly muting flavor, if it's like the pic.
Even a tad higher with the coils seems would be better to get that side af and let the scoop assist the bottton however much it will or can, but focus on side. Higher up and the scoop would direct more between dual coils.

Placement there looks pretty spot on mate any higher and your really gonna feel it on the old lippy poos especially if there’s any spitting

I hope VV changes the bf pin, it doesn’t have the proper squonk pin to allow the juice to go back in to the rdta tank. The way it is after a while the juice will seep out onto your mod.

Here’s some pics, it only looks like the full juice well isn’t showing, it is but it’s not centered over the chimney section. I found placing the coil slightly higher than the post gives better Flavour. I initially tried with the coil close to the airflow (much lower) & the Flavour was lacking.

No I mean the bf pin itself on the bottom of the atty where you screw onto the mod. Look at the screenshot of the YouTube vid snapdragon posted. The 510 bf pin hole is round it doesn’t have a slit to allow excess juice to squonk back in your mod.

Ahh see what you mean now ...I’ve personally always found leaking worse with the slit BF pin variant as there’s too much pressure with a smaller hole when squeezing the bottle

I quite like the hex BF pins as long as they aren’t too wide to form a seal with the 510 and this does look pretty big your right

They've made quite a few changes, actually. The deck is the only thing that really looks the same.

Placement there looks pretty spot on mate any higher and your really gonna feel it on the old lippy poos especially if there’s any spitting

The OG is like that, too high with even 1 coil and the cap can get hot, esp with that short tip they sent it out with. Taller tip fixes that.

Think you’re right mate with cool air coming in around the top it should help to cool the whole assembly around the DT ...could actually be a good move then when running the larger builds

You know what I realized? That when I'm squonking I really just want to use a single battery mech mod with single coil. All Nichrome mini framed Staple. Somewhat simple, flavor is amazing.

Even on my dual mech squonk I put together, I really love single coil. I liked my avacado 22, but there is no real gain for me. It's all relative. You get a bit extra in the tank but at what price? You completely miss out on what all of us squonkers love And that's the ebb n flow.

I’m so tempted to get the Glaz Rta from Steamcrave though. Was just on the Steamcrave Fan Page on FB, I had no luck with telling everyone to talk me out of it

If I can hold off they’re coming out with a dedicated single coil rta.

Yes the top cap on the OG Pyro can get hot- I had to get different drip tips for them. Plus a few drip tips tasted funny, like plastic, so trial and error on finding good drip tips for the Pyro. I wrote as a Con the included drip tips with the Pyro- too short and uncomfortable.
I build my deck single coil and as close to the deck as I can. The OG Pyro goes thru liquid pretty quickly too!
I am using the Flave Styled BF RDTA in silver for my VT Inbox, but now being used on my new ELeaf Squeeze 2 and just ordered another in black for the VT Inbox- hoping to get that next week from FT. I also ordered a Pyro Styled RDTA in black from FT- I will let you know what I think when that comes in.
I will be ordering the Pyro V2 BF when not a pre- order- would love to try it!

I really want the Asmodus Nefarius BF RDTA too- but the price has been very high- so waiting for a good sale to try this.
The problem with the Nefarius for me that it is a dual coil deck only, I don't think it can be built as a single coil.

I did look at the nefarius as well but decided against it in the end more interested in the C4 LP RDA that vapefan wrote about reckon that’ll be a nice single coil squonker ...waiting for a deal on it at the moment

I don't like to rule out dual coils- but I want this Nefarius RDTA for squonking and that dual coil will eat up battery life. I wish they had the option to do either single or dual coil on this RDTA or I would have bought it by now.
I will probably buy the Pyro V2 BF RDTA when it comes out, since I love the OG Pyro so much.

I didnt get the Asvape Cobra but I know @SnapDragon NY really enjoyed hers, if not for the darn coils you have to buy.

After looking at the pyro v2 some more the build deck and honeycomb airflow remind me of the Blitzen rta. I like the pyro layout much better with no chimney to trap heat and the tank below the build deck makes for better wicking IMHO.

Really don't want another dual coil atty but everytime I hit my goon I'm reminded of how good flavor can be and that heat is not a problem on rdas or rdtas. I'm liking the pyro v2 more and more everytime I look at it. Can't wait for reviews to come out.

I'm intrigued by the single coil from steam crave as well. I google it once or twice a week to see if anymore info has come out but haven't found anything yet. I wonder if it will come with a bubble wrap option for people like me that get occasional butter fingers.

haha one or twice ....genuinely this one is a doddle though no need to nell tha weckin ...it’s not too dissimilar to how easy it is to mount the coil and drop the wick like on the wasp nano RDA actually
