Vape Gear and Flying

I read on the TSA site that I can bring my gear through my carry-on baggage. They specifically say e-cigarettes, though, and nothing about mods and especially batteries.

I had planned to break the whole system down, putting my batteries in my containers and all that stuff, but I'm a little worried about bringing those batteries on the plane. Does anyone have experience with this?

Put everything in your baggage.... And bring on board a simple small mod.... Stealthy with built in battery.....

We took our Smok Nord with us on a trip to New York from Phoenix and we Vaped on the plane stealthy in our seats , bathroom, and had no trouble passing TSA........

They weren't even sure what it was......

A big mod with batteries attracts a lot of attention and what happens if they say, sorry can't allow that ..... ???

Do you want to surrender your mod ?

Anything with Batteries goes in Carry on luggage. Very simple and easy to follow instructions on the TSA site for most travel. Now with International Travel you must check the destination countries regulations and customs.

This means vibrators and double D's included in your carry on .....

Why take mod(s) on the plane in carry-on luggage ?

I put all the shit in my check in baggage (6) mods (6)18650 batteries and (4)26650 and even chargers in my check in bagagge.....

I still have everything....... nothing confiscated.....

Yeah I read the TSA site but they specify e-cigarettes. Maybe it's just me but I consider that to be the cig-a-likes and not a mod with 18650s.

I'm not interested in vaping on the plane - only in vaping when I get to my destination.

Yeah get your check in baggage and whip out your mod..... When I arrived at my destination I used my Smok Nord until I got my baggage and whipped out the cloud machines......

If you have no check in do what the other guy say...... Bring it all onboard

If you have a MOD with a Battery in your checked luggage and something goes wrong you face a BIG Fine. Do whatever you want but I hope I can never say I fucking Told You So. The TSA site lists anything with rechargeable batteries last time I looked. There was an instance recently with someones rechargeable batteries but it didn't have anything to do with vaping causing a fire in the cargo hold.

Mods go in their small little carry case with a piece of black electrical tape on the positive side of all the cells.....

That way there can be no form of contact if they open in your luggage and carry them at 20% empty not full........

TSA specifies lithium ion batteries be carry on only.

You are lucky, TSA specifically prohibit mods, atomizers, etc in checked baggage

Read the above link to TSA, ENDS, vaporizers, etc are what we call mods and they are only allowed as carry on baggage

I travel a lot and always carry in carry on personal item. Super easy, no problems and they will always go through your bag if you check batteries, some airports are instructed to remove them and leave you a note that you almost killed everyone and endangered the lives of millions of children.

Ok, so I'm going to bring a mod, my small charger, juice, and two sets of batteries in the cases. I'll tape the ends of the batteries just in case - though it may not be necessary.

Last time I flew, I packed a mod with batteries installed, tank, juice, and a charger in my carry on laptop bag. Extras and spares in my checked luggage. I had no problems.
