Today I had Vape Mail from Mama J's. I've been wanting to try them for quite awhile and I'm glad I did. Great customer service, great people, great products, and fast shipping. A Grand Slam (must of been a Tiger pitching :p). I can't recommend Mama J's strongly enough, you won't be disappointed! Thanks for everything @wllmc. Now to start mixing, well GOC is already in my tank :D

Right after I opened the package and checked all the flavors out. I only had a few minutes to mix so I whipped up 60ml GOC and 60ml of Duchess Apple Pie. I shock the crap out of them, gave them a warm water bath. Every once in awhile I shook them some more and added fresh hot water over a few hours. Finally I made some new coils out of 26ga Ni200 (1st time using 26) for the Billow V2. I filled the the tank with GOC and I'm blown away. This stuff is phenomenal! I'm already thinking only 55ml left, better make another 60ml  :D

Cheers,
Steve

I absolutely will. This is going to be my first time trying it as well. I smelled it earlier today after shaking it and it really smells good. I plan to try some tonight. I also want to try their Cherry Pie, it sounds really good too :).

Cheers,
Steve

love love love Mama J's. I am expecting my GOC to arrive today as well :). I did notice your pic you had was with the billows. You stated you build it with 26 G NI200. Can you elaborate on that build?. I find 28 is the biggest I can get in mine...

I did 10 wraps around the blue screwdriver that came with it on each coil (53 year old eyes, 1 could be 11 lol). My 3Li says .058, after juicing the coils, putting the chimney on, quick pulse to make sure it was working. I then screwed on the tank let it sit for about 5 minutes and it settled at .061. It was so much easier working with the 26. I bought small rolls (10m) from Gearbest of the 26 and 28 when I bought the first Billow V2. I never tried the 26 because I thought it would build out too low. To me I almost felt like I was using kantal in comparison because it was that much easier dealing with the wire.

Cheers,
Steve

WOW, thats great. Interesting as I usually am around .07 with using 28 gage at 2.5 mm, at 10 wraps. I am not sure that 26 would give me enough resistance but I will try. WE may be right at the lower limit and possibly the difference in operation may be variations in the mods ability to measure the resistance. I have seen some mods read higher or lower than others. It would be super cool if I could get 26 to work

I agree 100 percent. The whole time I was doing it, I was thinking this isn't going to work. I'm still a little surprised I'm not getting the low resistance message. I hope it's not a one off. I'm going to be disappointed if I can't replicate the results.

Cheers,
Steve

You will have to update me the next time you build the deck with 26. If so I am going to run out and get some 26 NI200. I have 26 TI but been struggling a bit with coils lately with it.... Enjoy the Billows, I love mine

My billow with 26 gauge is at 0.15, contact coils! Can't remember how many wraps, but not that many, and I used the 2mm mandrel (because it springs out a bit bigger).

I was at .19 with 2.5mm and 8 wraps. I am gonna try 2mm next because the springy wire may be getting to close to the chimney and causing me problems

I finally tried the Duchess Apple Pie and I like it. I would call it a complex flavor. What I mean by that is I taste different things at different times. At first I get the Apple, then spices (cinnamon, Brown sugar, maybe nutmeg, it's different at different times). At the end I taste pie crust. I wouldn't call it overly sweet but I would say it's definitely flavorful. Keep in mind this is after only about 4ml (1 day of resting) and I mixed it at 7% (the recommended is 9%). I'll update after I have some time to try it a little stronger and weaker if I think it's warranted. Hope that at least helps a little :)

Cheers,
Steve

The last few days I've been experimenting with adding a few drops of flavor to GOC that I mixed up at 10%. My first experiment was adding 5 drops of Caramel (3%) to 4.9ml of my GOC mix, very, very tasty. The second experiment didn't turn out quite as well. I figured Raspberry Custard sounded good so I added the same 3% that I added of the Caramel the night before (but no caramel his time). Damn, that Raspberry is strong, it doesn't taste bad, but it totally wiped out the taste of the GOC :(
