I frequently get vapers tongue when I stick with a flavor for more than 24 hours. Sometimes I will get it quicker if I am chain vaping a new flavor.

It happens often enough that I'd like to know how you all deal with it when it happens to you. I typically will swap out my tank for my dripper and just flip flavors around for a while. Then go back to my tank after a bit.

Although this does seem to do the trick I was wondering if there are any quicker, faster, easier solutions to this. Like an "on the go" solution or whatever..

Thanks for reading!! :)

I've never really thought about acquiring a technique. I've seen people saying they brush their teeth a lot. I guess if that works then carry mints.

Usually, I just switch flavors for a bit. But I'll also rinse a little water around in my mouth to remove lingering flavor / sweetness. Seems to help. Simple and easy.

What is vaper's tongue? Losing perception of a flavor? There's only so many ways around that: back off for a bit and just breathe for several minutes, eat/drink something, or switch flavors. The palate must be cleansed. In the same vein, you only really get a few whiffs of wine before you lose it and have to sample something different.

YES!!! This is it… I lose the flavor which totally sucks when its a good one… The part here that sticks out to me is cleansing the palate. So… How does one cleanse a palate?? This is what I know I do at this time…

1) Swish water around to get the "extra" out of my mouth
2) drink a lot… Mostly non alcoholic… LOL!!
3) Brush teeth and tongue… Although the mint from the paste does mess with me for a bit it does work..

I've kind of thought of it as being near cattle… When your by them all day they no longer smell… Driving past them at highway speeds they smell something terrible at times. So I suppose its kinda like that but with your tongue instead of your mouth.

What I am reading here is all stuff I do as it is. I was just curious if some magical way of doing it has come along or something…

Just being overly optimistic I suppose.. :)

Thanks all!!!!

Well you could get something that smells really really strong to sniff between drags. Something like wintergreen or something, but you'd have to close the container real good so you couldn't smell it the rest of the time.

I usually drink either water or iced tea to counteract it. If it's really bad, I'll eat something spicy.

I have two mods, sometimes three, in constant use with different flavors. In almost three years of vaping, I have never had vapor's tongue.

Usually, I just grab whichever flavor I feel like at that moment. Might use it a few times before switching. Might use it for an hour before switching.
