Hogwash and bullshit. Don't assume it's from Big Tobacco; they are VERY FAR from our biggest enemy. Look to the "charitable" orgs, which are just BP tools, and BP itself, for the rampant spreading of bullshit and disinformation. Also "public health", specifically, "Tobacco Con-Troll".

True. There are a lot of things into play that want people to behave like puppets. I read a few more articles that ran tests on animals in vape exposed air. With and without nicotine and they kept mentioning how diacetyl is very dangerous. Years go by and no one says anything about diacetyl and now red flags are raised everywhere :/

The diacetyl issue is overblown the only people who have shown any symptoms/diseases from it are workers in an industrial setting exposed to diacetyl laden dust in a popcorn/coffee plant. But it was just enough for those who have taken a stance against vaping to grab on and run with. They can't even say with 100% certainty it was the diacetyl or the other chemicals those workers were exposed to on a daily basis. While this is just my opinion from reading all the information on it I could over the last two years I am not concerned about it at all. If it was as harmful as they say in the concentrations we use it I am almost positive that we would have seen some cases in vapers by now. But I encourage you to read the all information and make an informed decision on whether you choose to vape them or not.

I thought vaping does not have side effect whatsoever.

Like anything else, it depends on the person, their lungs, how they vape, what they vape, and many other factors. Just as vaping itself is not "one size fits all," there are few "hard and fast" facts about vaping's effects. The facts are that e-cig vapor, with or without nicotine, contains FAR fewer chemicals than tobacco smoke, and that vaping is AT LEAST 95% less harmful than smoking. It is difficult to more specific than that. There is danger is getting out of bed in the morning, but as relative risks go, it's pretty low on the list -- so is vaping.

Them tobacco and pharmas will do anything and everything to keep people binded to them. Sheesh :/ I've done something I couldn't over the past 8 years because of vaping. Throw the final bud and walked away smiling never wanting to touch it again :)

http://www.ecigarettedirect.co.uk/ashtray-blog/2014/09/diacetyl-comparison-eliquid-cigarettes.html

According to Ecigarette researcher Dr Konstantinos:

‘Median levels of daily exposure from e-cigarettes (3mL liquid consumption per day) was 56ug/day. The level of daily exposure from tobacco cigarettes (daily consumption of 20 cigarettes) was 5870ug/day.’

I was a smoker for 30+ years, and I have been able to quit that habit with vaping! What some of these scare tactics fail to do is compare that these chemicals Are in cigarettes and at even higher levels, they just report on the ecig containing Diacetyl. Even with the high levels of Diacetyl in cigarettes- no known smoker has been diagnosed with "popcorn lung". At least with eliquids, it can be tested and removed or make sure that their products do not contain Diacetyl . While vaping is not 100% safer- it is at least 95% less harmful than cigarettes!
We as adults have choices, and what is best for me, and what has finally worked, I have read so many studies and to me, ecigs have proved a much safer way out of my cigarette addiction! I don't worry about ecigs as a former cigarette smoker- I know cigarettes maim and kill! The pills, patches and gum contain nicotine and make me sick! Cold turkey did not work for me either, I thought I would be a smoker till I died- Almost 2 years later, cig free thanks to ecigs( I have never felt better)!

Where did you hear that?
Vaping has not been around long enough to fully know what any of the side effects may be.
That is why you should read articles, make your own choice.
I was a long time cigarette smoker, from the articles and studies I have read, I believe Vaping is at least 95% less harmful than smoking.
The articles and studies have not suggested that Vaping is 100% less harmful, yet.

True, you are right. I guess vaping is not for everyone.

Well, I certainly didn't say that. But it might be true; lord knows, I've had to deal with quite a few issues, to be able to vape, and I STILL have to deal with igmos who want to know when I'm going to stop vaping "like a noob" and start huffing up massive amounts of whipped cream vapor -- and the answer to that is "never", since huffing would not satisfy my urge to smoke, and I have asthma, so the only thing I'll be huffing is albuterol and Advair. I think *most* anyone who has patience and determination can probably find a way to vape, if they really try... but yeah, there might be exceptions.

I deal with some of the same I have slight asthma and realized very quickly that I can't tolerate high VG. But there are those who look at me sideways when I tell them I vape 70% PG in a sub-ohm mech, everyone has their happy place in vaping.

I'm not sure that asthma fully explains the VG intolerance; just recently I heard from another asthmatic round here who has to vape mostly Vg, because PG makes her cough. I think the tolerance for Pg or Vg is just another individual aspect, unique to every vaper -- even 70% Pg would be twice as much VG as I can deal with! :D And there are quite a few who share our intolerance for VG, who aren't asthmatic at all. *shrug*

For a while I did feel kinda cheated, that so many people have such MUCH better breathing after switching to vaping, but I don't, not at all. but it's very slowly getting better, and at least I stopped increasing my cancer risk with every puff, over 2 yrs ago, and I certainly smell better now. :D My health is otherwise quite good, so I guess it's just going to take a while for these asthmatic lungs to improve dramatically, and they will never be normal -- they're asthmatic.

Yeah the whole PG/VG thing has no rhyme or reason. I equate the VG to asthma is because when I go over about 40% the symptoms a very similar to an attack. As far as the general feeling I get from it.

yes, when I once tried 67PG/33VG, I felt like I had a hairball in my chest I couldn't cough up, I wheezed a lot, and I woke up with the worst asthma attack I've EVER had, where it was difficult just to inhale my rescue inhaler -- that was scary as shit. I went back to 80% Pg the very next day, and since then have gone to 85% or 86% -- the latter currently, because of the summer humidity; after it cools off, I can go back to 85%.
