I am a long time smoker who has attempted multiple times to permanently transition to vaping without success. I am interested in the potential of nicotine salt-based liquids to help me finally kick the analogs. I have had several people recommend them to me as it worked for them.
However, I am rather invested into equipment already. I am currently using a Smok Alien with a Kanger Pro Tank. I typically run a 1 to 1.1 ohm coil with a 12 mg juice. I know I can sub-ohm and switch to a lower mg juice, but don't want to become a chain vaper, either. I also know that nic salts aren't to be sub-ohmed. BUT, would it be okay to vape ~25mg nic salts @ 6 or 7 watts with a 1.3~1.8 ohm coil in my current tanks? Seems to be similar specs to the low power pod systems and IIRC the Smok Alien will bottom at 6 watts. Just don't want to have to reinvest in closed systems that require me to purchase coils and/or pods repeatedly. Prefer to just wrap my own coils and do my own wicking.
Thanks!
