I've found this, working outside in Alaska during the winters. (Usually in the 20's Fahrenheit). I use max VG juice and a steam crave aromamizer supreme RDTA, so this is based on that. I've been building dual coils with 26 gauge kanthal. 7 open wraps using an 8 gauge metal bolt as a guide. (It is the same as you'd use for a drawer pull screw). My Ohm's are .50. This is crucial. 5 wraps and .35 gets too hot too quickly and the cold juice can't wick fast enough, and I get burned cotton hits. The slightly higher ohms make an incredible difference. Don't know the science, just know it works. I still can't chain vape at full speed, but I can hit it like I want to without fear. Also, I find closing down the air supply at first helps things warm up. After it gets heated up, I can open the air back up.
