I got into doing some research and just missed it 
Found out that my insurance might cover a mobility scooter and one of the zero gravity lift recliners for me
Family is hoping to do some day trips and a scooter would make it so I could go instead of them leaving me at home so I'm hoping it will work out.

So... what are people using for wicking?
Is everyone using cotton or do some of you use silica or Ekowool?
I recently picked up some Ekowool and it's a lot stiffer than I expected so I need to figure out the best way to wick a Kayfun with it.
Been using Jap Cotton for a while now, just thought I'd try some other stuff just to make sure what I like best.

I use KGD myself ... wicks well, good flavor, easily trimmed to size.
IMHO, the only advantage to slica or ekowool is the fact that you can dry burn it. A couple of things I don't like about it are that it frays easily and is difficult to cut cleanly.
Just my opinion of course.

so I just used my Labo JC.

Yes, Koh Gen Do cotton.
It helps somewhat to trim the ends of silica/ecowool with nail clippers rather than scissors but it still frays. Yeah, it is a pain to thread ... I ended up resorting to using a little piece of kanthal twisted around one end to act as a leader and to help hold it together as I pulled it through the coil. That does help but I still like the flavor I get with cotton better.
You could try plumping up your ecowool with a cotton center but then you lose the ability to dry burn of course so it might not be worth it.
