Looking to get an RDA and try initially with remade coils. What mode would it need to be in (bypass?) and after watching / reading a fair bit will it be an easy transition?
No not bypass. Run it in power mode for SS, kanthal, ni-80 if you are using SS, nickel, titanium you run in temp mode by selecting the type of wire you are using. A Goon from minimal research but advised otherwise from a Vape shop. Really good advice will contemplate. Thanks. No not bypass. What bypass mode does is limit the regulation of the mod and give you more of a mech like feel. This means as your batteries drain so will the power to the coil. Now if that is the type of vape you are looking for then sure go for it, but not sure why one gets a regulated device to run it in bypass mode.
The transition will depend more on the topper than the mod. What rda did you have in mind?
Np. Imo for your first rda you will want something that is easy to build on. Typically something with a velocity style deck is considered easy to build on. I also think a post less deck is easy to build on, but you have to kind of figure out how long to cut your leads, but once you do that a couple times they are really simple, but velocity is a sure bet. Velocity style is very popular so many good rda's have used it.A Goon from minimal research but advised otherwise from a Vape shop. Really good advice will contemplate. Thanks.
Thanks will have a look / read about Velocity Tanks.Np. Imo for your first rda you will want something that is easy to build on. Goon has a clamp style deck and could be viewed as more challenging, so that would have to require some self diagnosis on your part.
Best thing to do imo is after you think you have narrowed down the rda watch a bunch of videos on it to find cons or issues, and watch them build/install coils so you can see what you will have to do.
