My logical guess would be the "menu" button, separate out from the "fire" button. I've been wondering when are they gonna come out with that, without 3 clicks on the fire button, so on so forth ...

Well, I was right. The lowest button is for changing to various tc and back to vw, just saw Tia's clip.

Eleaf's iStick TC100 has that same 3rd button.
Maybe Vaporesso's version won't make you hold it in as long for it to switch to the next setting.
With it being in that $50 range, it may look good in my collection.
Curious about the board.
I like the carbon fiber.
No mention of firmware upgrades nor pics showing if it even has a micro USB port for doing such.
This thing comes out tomorrow and there is so little info on it, I almost feel like they aren't ready for it to hit the market.
hahaha sounds like a Microsoft product.

Nice looking mod. I've heard their ceramic coils are damn good too. Need to try some for vapes and giggles.

Just got the Vaporesso Taget tank in using the ceramic .9 and have to say that other than it doesn't allow as much air flow as I'm used to or like, the flavor is awesome.
Dry, but great flavor.
Also doesn't hold much juice.
But great flavor.
Did I mention it had amazing flavor?

This is outdated already, not firmware upgradeable, no custom TCR option, does not do Ti in TC, pretty limited firmware options for the price.

By those standards I guess my favorite and most used mod is outdated because it only does what it's supposed to do, vape like a motherfucker. I think we are going a little crazy with the TC and firmware nonsense. I was really wrapped up in it for a while but lately I'm finding it's hard to beat straight wattage from plain old kathal. Doesn't take much to make that work well.

I think it looks pretty nice. I just wish more mods would start using some bigger screens, like the Cuboid or Evic VTC Mini, or even the X Cube II.

I agree. I don't think every mod has to be able to do everything out there. I'd rather have a mod that does one thing really well instead of one that does four things so-so. But I also don't really care for TC, either. Being firmware upgradeable is nice. Everything these days seems to be rushed out in about a 90-95% market-ready state, not just mods either.

Exactly. I'm all for innovation and some companies do it well, others are just throwing shit against a wall and seeing what sticks.

It does do TI
Specifications vary from site to site and on Vaporesso official site it does not state which material can be TCed with this, but SS316 must be supported because Vaporesso's own ccell coils are based on it, i think Ti is the missing one if i remember the video review i have seen a while ago, i am pretty sure it does not TC all three commonly used material.

By those standards I guess my favorite and most used mod is outdated
That Snow Wolf you are referring to is from an older generation of mods, being released early last year, the Vaporesso tarot is a second quarter 2016 mod so you can't compare them in terms of features, i bet the Snow Wolf v2 will have all those and then some, there is no excuse for not supporting all TC material commonly used, and having a custom TCR for different alloy grades, other material like tungsten .. etc .. Firmware upgradability is a must also, for as mentioned above most manufactures rush to market with half cooked firmware, this provides a gateway for them to fix their mess ups later, i can not imagine buying a mod today that does not at least have Ni/Ti/SS support, custom TCR and firmware upgradability.

Now if you guys only vape Kanthal in power mode, then i understand you would not care about those features, but for the rest of us who moved to 100% TC vaping such features are essential and critical, a mod released in 2016 must have them as a minimum.

The Snow Wolf 1.5 software also has a lag. The response is slow and it is not a true 200 watts. I have one. When it was released it was the tits. Now, not so much. I can live without the TC uogrades as I generally use an RTA with kanthal. When I burn my cotton I rewick - notice 'when' not 'if'. Now most of my newer mods released late 2015 early 2016 hit nharder than the Snow Wolf. Even myb older Swoop, hits harder at 80 - 120 watts than the Snow Wolf at 80 - 120 watts. I don't vape higher than that on a regulated anyway.

Either way on my end this mod is good for my I don't really temperature control vape and if I do it's in stainless steel because I don't wanna change my build every time I change modes

I posted about this mod back in late December after the local vape shop owner here in town received the info packet from Vaporesso which included the beta-tester version of the device that was sent to potential approved buyers. It was amazing to see and hold. The screen was completely original, and could have been one of the best on the market. Not sure which chip it was then, but the finished product has a TOTALLY different screen design. (As seen in the promotional ad photos.) Just hate to see a potentially great mod become just another in the crowd. Performance will be fine, but they settled instead of moving the bar higher...

Now I can't wait for it , was waiting to get the black gemini or griffin for this but it looks like the original sits pretty close to the sides on there . We'll now off to find a black gemini or griffin !

It is over rated on power.
Purchased this when they first came out but have to turn it 10 - 15 watts higher than any of my other mods to get the same results.
That being said, it does indeed feel like a good solid mod and it just works.
Light weight yet sturdy.
So far has been reliable add to my collection.

When they say "Pro", does that mean that an amature vaper like myself should not use this device. I know you guys that do this for a living have insight on these things. I don't want to get injured...

my guess is maybe more features..Anything regulated is a great place to start in vaping for anyone new or seasoned.
