I have a Aspire Atlantis and Aspire CF SUB mod for about a week now. I have noticed that my first inhales of the day after the tank and mod have been sitting for a while are very dry and almost no vape. Then after those first inhales it works perfectly and smooth. But it happens EVERY time I first use it. Lets say I wake up in the morning for my first use the first lets say 5 inhales are/feel dry rough and hard to pull any air out. Almost like I have my finger on the opening air vent on the Atlantis. Feels very restricted and no vapor comes out or not much at all. Then after a few tries It works smooth and can feel the difference of being able to just inhale easily rather than really sucking into it to get anything out. Ok I use it for a while and put it down for a few hours. Again when I go to use it, it does the same thing. First few inhales feel restricted and not much vapor. Then after a bit works perfectly. I have used different juices as well and it does the same thing with each juice (VapeOHolics 50/50, Cuttwood Monster Melons 70/30 vg/pg no nic on both) Am I doing something wrong or do I have to do something before starting it up every time? Tried shaking the tank, battery is always full charge. Also I have changed the coil also just incase it was that but not change. Help! lol thanks

I think what you are likely experiencing is what I call the "warm up hit". I notice it on RDAs. It takes a hit or two to pre-heat the coils when your running large gauge sub-ohm setups (Which the Atlantis is). I've found a "fix" for me on my RDA and LEMO (I like to use thicker 26ga wire) is to pulse or fire the battery/APV for a second then let off it of it for a little bit (less than a second) and then hit it... works great for me. From what I now the CF SUB is a non regulated rig so it will be less predictable.

I don't remember if I had tried that but will give it a shot tomorrow and let you know. So I should just turn it on for a bit at a time before inhaling.?

yea, about a half a second normally does it for me.
Tried it with no results. Still seems restricted and very frustrating. Bought a new coil (again). I think for some reason it might be the juice I am vaping. Cuttwood Monster Melons(?) Going to get buy a new juice in a bit from VapeOHolic. Hopefully it was just that

Hmmm sorry to hear. I just tried one out again on the Sub-battery and it's working fine. It's a 60/40 PG/VG blend.
