Very new and confused

Ok so I’m new to vaping. I got the v8 stick. When I first got it, it pulled pretty good. The next coil I got didn’t pull worth a darn. I’m not sure what the difference is in coils. I just took it in and asked for a new coil and they just gave me one. Not sure why one pulls harder and has better flavor than the other. Please help thanks!

Look on the side of the coil and see if you can see what the coil is. They may of gave you a different coil than the first one. I don't have one so I am not sure what coil that tank came with. It should tell you the OHM on it.

What wattage were you vaping at? Was it at a higher wattage than that? It may be you need a lower ohm coil. Some one should come along that has one.
Do you have another coil you can try and put in it? See if that help. There are defects in coils from time to time.

I’m not sure what wattage they are at. It’s not adjustable. So the lower ohms will pull harder with more flavor?

If this is it then you can see what coil came pre-installed and another in the package. Most likely they sold you a coil different than what you had. They probably didn't have it so they sold you anything. Learn your device.

Vape fan beat me to it. It should of came with two coils as said above. Neither are 0.6, much lower. Put the other coil in and see how it works for you.
Then order yourself a box or two of coils. Buying one at a time is asking for trouble unless you have another back up device. Word of advice is have a back up and you probably will end up with a back up to the back up and another after that. :giggle:

Having back up is pretty essential if your wanting to not smoke. Invariably there's going to be a reason why your current set-up won't work.
When you can, invest in a better mod and another tank, and use the schtick as a back up.

Good luck, it not as complicated as it all seems when you are new. Keep asking questions and look thru the forum and just read it is full of good advice.

I used to have one .
You have to use the Smok M2 coils with it.
I tried others like the Q4 and such and they won't work well because they require more power than the Stik can put out.

Your problem imo is you are using a NON regulated device with an atty or at least coil heads that work best with regulation.... in this case the ability to increase or decrease voltage output.. and resulting wattage.

My suggestion a regulated mod or learn to build coils.

I am not sure why vape shops push this to people beginning to vape but they all seem to do it, well I shouldn't say all but most.
Guy that worked for me wouldn't listen to me went and the vape shop set him up with the same set up. He hated it, I gave him a
eleaf 100w and the melo tank I had sitting around, set him up and he was loving it. I assume he is still using it, I had to fire him but last I knew he wasn't smoking !

Its basically an all in one, with some safety features. For example, unlike a true mechanical mod, this smok stick is limited to how low resistance it will fire, temp and max wattage out. (Though I haven't read the specs in awhile)
So basically, with the M2 coils.. it is a one button device and easy to use. (unless you try to replace the coil with a regular BB coil. Gotta have those M2s.
