Very specific burn spots

I have the e-boss Blizz and I’m running some .2 coils that I bought from a shop near me. I’m getting a very dark brown ( maybe burnt ) in my cotton but only the section of the cotton that sits directly inside the coil. Am I burning my coils? If so what am I doing wrong?

What does the coil look like without cotton inside, is it glowing evenly from the center outward toward the two ends?

How much power are you pushing through your coils?
How long is it taking to get burned?
Are you running in temp control or power mode?
What build are your coils?

I typically run either a quad core ss- 30g Clapton with 40g surround. 6 wraps with an internal diameter of 3mm. In dual coil that’s around a 0.15-0.16. I push them around 75-80w and the cotton will show some scoring or singing after about 2 days of heavy use. If I run them in temp control mode it’ll take much longer.
That’s also assuming I use my typical lighter colored juices. If I use a dark juice they’ll look pretty ragged after a day.

Could be a couple things..such as wicking, coil is to narrow and to many wraps, or you vape to many pulls before rewetting, etc. I get the same problem every couple of 3 days or so. I just rewick and vape on.
