I just got this yesterday and when it works, it works well, but here's the problem (several actually):
Whenever the mod goes to sleep it seems to reset itself to a 0ºC TC tolerance. I say this because pressing the fire button results in it waking up with everything initially displaying as 0 and quickly the temp warning. The warning disappears after a second and the screen comes back with the temp and wattage no long 0, but the resistance is 0. This is where it gets really wonky. About 75% of the time it will agree with all other mods and detect the Ni coil at 0.21Ω. But sometimes it will detect higher, up to 0.24Ω. And once it detected at 0.27-0.29Ω and burnt the heck out of the coil WITHOUT the TC cut off kicking in. I have it set to 240ºC and 100W (cuts of around 30-40W for temp and it's working well today so far.
So, what, if anything, am I doing wrong?
If there any way to lock the resistance? Lock/unlock doesn't work for resistance.
Is there anyway to turn of the start-up delay, or at least extend the sleep timer?
