Kanger recommends you use their coils between 8 and 12 watts or so. I preferred to use them at around 9 most of the time.

Not sure what wattage would "burn it out" but you really shouldn't be trying to go that high on that tank anyhow. That tank is made for simple use and good flavor, not for producing large clouds. I wouldn't take it much higher than 10 or 12 watts, and the flavor won't be very good beyond that anyhow. What ohm coils are you using in it? Start low and work up until you get the flavor you want. If you're looking for big clouds, get a different atty.

I would recommend the TOBH V2 or V2.5 Clone. I love this atty, produces great clouds and great flavor, easy to build on too. Nice solid piece. Make sure if you get one, to get one with the copper center post, it works much better. Only downside to this atty, is that it is loud when your pulling air through it. I'm going to drill a new larger air hole in it to see if I can cut the sound down and get some bigger clouds too.

No problem bud. Yeah that 1.8 coil "should" be okay up to about 15 watts without "burning up," but you're going to end up getting dry hits, which taste absolutely horrible. As for a recommendation, are you looking for a tank or a dripper? Going for better flavor, or going for bigger clouds?

Ahh... @Celtic Fog beat me to it. The TOBH is a nice one indeed if you're wanting to drip.

if you're looking for prebuilt coils then an atlantis or a kanger sub tank if/when they're available....if you wanna wrap your own then a Kayfun if you prefer single coils and an Orchid if you prefer dual coil set ups...an IPV has plenty of power and can run a dual coil orchid no problem and at higher wattages than you ever could run a Gennitank. it would run anything I mentioned just fine actually.

This is what I do.

Put your topper on it, set you watts to the lowest setting and work you way up until you like the flavor and vapor.

Regarding tanks for flavor ... I run the Rose V2 (clone by Pallas) with great success. Some complain that they are hard to build on, but my oversized hands find it easier to build on than some of the more common decks.

And the Kanger Sub Tank has checked the boxes that'll make it my next clearo. My current Clearo's are Aspire Nautilus' but I'm gonna go for the option with RBA and 1.2 ohm options for the most of the time when I don't feel like atomizing juice by the quart.
