The ONLY bad thing I've ever heard about the OG 100w is a spinny fire button....
I've owned almost all of the sig line save for some of the new ones and the only problem I've had were with a faulty 510 pin on the 30w wich was easily remedied.
IMHO,sigelei has been the best "entry level" brand.

I dont recommend mainly due to the pin. The 100w Plus resolved this issue. This issue is a huge pain in the ass for Me and I am still trying for a solid work around.

You're right.
The non spring loaded center pin does suck.

Never had a single issue with the pin, though I've heard others complain about it (as well as the boxy edges). I like the fact that it's adjustable, and reverse-threaded so that when tightening an atty on it snugs up rather than slides in to escape. You can get a lot more these days for only a few bucks more, but I bought a couple iStick 100s and my wife broke hers and went back to the v1 Sig after about 3 months - mine lasted 3 1/2 months before shitting the bed and is the only mod I've ever had completely die on me. For the price I'm tempted to buy a half-dozen more since I know they last forever, but they're just not new and shiny...and I got a couple Kanger 120s with TC for a couple bucks more on sale the other day.
