The little time travel challenge we face in scheduling a birthday party for @walton actually works in his favor. He gets two birthdays. His real birthday is July 22. He's in Australia, Tasmania specifically, which is 15 hours ahead of USA central time. He'll take off early in the day on his July 22, which is our July 21. Crossing the date line, he'll land in the evening on our July 21. We'll celebrate his birthday then, since his body clock is Aussie and he already woke up at home on his birthday. The next day of our celebration will be our July 22, Walton's second birthday.
We're putting up decorations and arranging guest seating now, July 21 at noon USA central time, which is 3am on July 22 in Tasmania. Our party venue is a posh gentlemens club. While we wait for Walton's arrival, the rest of us can arrive whenever we want, enjoy each others company over lunch, maybe a swim (bring your swimsuit). We bought Walton a club membership, and we're all registered with in & out privileges as his guests for the next few days.
The wait is finally over! Here comes the birthday boy now, in the limo we sent to fetch him from the private jet we chartered to fly him here for his party. The pyrotechnician will launch the fireworks please.

A warm welcome @walton, from your friends @gopher_byrd, @Freyja, @Jimi, @2WhiteWolves,
@gloopdegurp, @Heartsdelight, @misswish, Bliss Doubt, and new friends you're about to meet.
The first thing we need is the "happy birthday" song:
Freyja ordered the champagne, plenty of the best for everyone:

And a birthday cake. This one ought to feed the crowd that has gathered for this celebration:

Before we settle together in the lounge, meet your guests. Your reception line, next post.
