I understand that this thread has been put to bed, but I read it this morning, and I have been thinking all day about the advice I would give to anyone asking me the same question as the OP.
I have come to the conclusion, that I would tell the OP everything I know about vaping. I would steer them them towards somebody who knows the best starter equipment, as in mod, kit etc. I would then tell them everything I know about juices.
I would suggest, that nicotine wouldn't be needed if they had never smoked.
It would be an unnecessary cost. The jury is still not in about nicotine being addictive.
I was a smoker for thirty odd years. Not one device containing nicotine, such as gum, patches, etc worked for me.
I quit smoking tobacco when I started vaping, back when it first came out, and I got the gear in the mail from China.
I wish I had a choice between cigarettes or vaping when I started.
People are free to choose, for now, in this somewhat precious world we seem to have today.
I may also suggest that they don't draw it into their lungs.
My husband turned to vaping the same time as me. He has been a smoker for thirty years and never did the draw back.
He vapes and doesn't draw back. WTF is that about lol? But, you might be safer if you don't draw into your lungs?
I was a die hard smoker. Vaping set me free.
It's not all about quitting an addiction. It is also about helping somebody making a safer choice, as their freedom of choice allows.
