Wattage Confusion

Kinda new to this so I need to ask. I have an Eleaf 100W Box mod and a CCI Archon. My coils are a .23 ohm according to my box. Always use Max VG juice. My question what should my wattage be. Flavor and cloud equally important.

The exact wattage is more of a 'try it till you like it' concept for me. Your actual build will determine that number, for instnace: a dual coil 22g will require more power than a dual coil of 24g for similar performance; because of the amount of metal. likewise a dual parallel build will need a significantly larger amount of power. different metals also have alot to do with it. I have a 0.2 ohm build in my Kennedy composed of a dual parallel build with 22g and 28g that I fire at 85w; but, a dual 24g build of stainless steel I fire at 48w, both give me ALOT of vapor and flavor.

Maybe start at 40w and adjust it from there

^^^^^ This!
Start low, or even lower than you think you need, and slowly go up, you'll find your "sweet spot" That spot will vary according to the coil/build, and even what type flavor juice your vaping.

Agree with what everyone else has said, start low and work high. One small warning though, if you go too high, you could burn your coil and that will result in a burnt flavor to your juice. If you happen to do that, then dump out the tank, throw away the coil, and clean everything before putting in a new coil and refilling the tank.
