Wattage help?

Hi, I am new to vaping and have some questions.

For my first buy I got an aspire cf vv battery and a micro adc ii with the 1.5 ohm coil. I have been seeing charts everywhere that indicate best voltage/wattage/ohm combos. What I don't understand is I can set the voltage and essentially set the ohms with the right coils but is the wattage automatically changed as necesary within my device or is there a set wattage and a better ohm coil range that will work with my battery? I appreciate the help understanding how the device itself works

The battery can vary the voltage up or down. For the 1.5 Ohm coil, to figure out the watts supplied you need to use Ohm's law. More volts means more watts, dependent on the Ohms' resistance of the coil.

An example:

At 5 Volts, you are at 16.66 Watts. All you need are 2 numbers, the volts and resistance of the coil.

Lower Ohm coils heat up faster and can produce more vapor, but will also increase the ampere draw on your battery. The best combination is to get a few coils in differing resistances, use them and figure out what you like best. No need to consult charts on what your vape should be, but rather what you determine is your sweet spot.
