It looks like abbies aren't the only thing Wayward Pines has to worry about anymore. With the notable return of Nurse Pam, the town and more specifically Jason will apparently have to contend with smallpox -- or the potential of smallpox anyway -- in the near future. While the lack of a good mystery continues to make this show feel less dynamic than it once was, "Once Upon a Time in Wayward Pines" offered a little more insight into Jason's history, while also giving us a worthy guest appearance from Melissa Leo.
Not surprisingly, Pam's scenes were among the most engaging this week, and Leo in particular was really chewing up the scenery -- in a good way! From her flashbacks with a young Jason (more on that in a moment) to her smugly cryptic conversations with Theo, Pam was a very welcome addition to this expansion-themed storyline.
