My husband left the back gate opened last night. Rosie must have been miles away when we got up this morning. Chuck drove for an hour looking for her on this 108 degree day. I have posted in our neighborhood website, the County, Humane Society, and 2 other lost/found animal websites.

In this heat she is taking shelter in the shade. Many of our neighbors responded that they would watch for her and put a bowl of water out for her.
We have put out her favorite bed and a bowl of water in hopes she will pick up the scent.

OMG! SOMEONE JUST CALLED!...THEY FOUND HER! I'M IN TEARS!

Thank you, @Khassy . I was able to see where they told him she was by an app. She was on the freeway at milepost 44, 5 miles north of us. Thank God she's okay! She's safely in her bed after a light scolding with plenty of water. She'll be sleeping for a while. I put extra food in her bowl for when she gets up to eat. AND checked both yard gates. A year ago she fled when the gardener forgot to close the gate. We'll chip her for sure now. She was wobbly for a few days.

Chuck and I use a phone app, and on our computers called Life 360. It let's us know where each other is at all times. I can tell if he's running late at an appointment, he can tell that I stopped off to go shopping, getting my tires changed, etc. Great zoom in feature. And, you can check in, call and tell when one of our cell phones is below 10%.

Whew! I just gave Chuck a well deserved beer. Me? It's time for a chill pill and recline.
